The first annual “Delivering Action Summit” was held on July 12, 2019 at the San Destin Golf & Beach Resort. The Summit brought together doctors, midwives, medical malpractice attorneys, journalists, bloggers, parents who have lost their children under the supervision of an out-of-hospital midwife and the extraordinary communities that support them, in order to inspire effective discourse concerning the preventable deaths of children and their parents under the care of an out-of-hospital midwife. The Summit also served to promote transparency in the midwifery industry that will help to provide families with the knowledge necessary in order to make truly informed decisions.
